He could picture his face, although not as clearly as he expected. It was his voice that was the most present, his unique intonation, when he said « Let’s fold it ! », insisting on the ‘o’.
It had been two years since he last heard it. It seemed so long ago, he thought. And he had worked so much since, convincing the others to continue anyway.

– Professor ?
This was another voice, the one from the new assistant.

– Huh ? Yes ? oh… hmmm. yes !
Back to reality.
His finger was still hovering above the large button, under which a post-it read « Fold 3X ». The noise of the machine was very high. What would happen this time ? They had taken so many precautions to avoid another accident. But, well…
